Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle various floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models work with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of floors and rooms.
When visit the next post tested the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. automatic hoover was capable of driving close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as needed.
This robot combination is simple to install and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when required. It comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops can also be replenished at the top of the station if needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent, navigating tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a large margin around obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at removing dirt and debris but they're not able to get every speck of dust. This is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It is simple to connect it to your WiFI network at home and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen in this price range even though it's not able to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.
The mops also stand out with their 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. This device also has a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if required. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid and is a great feature.
